<p>A new study by the University of Toronto has determined a substantial link between physical abuse in childhood and osteoarthritis in adulthood. Adults who suffered abuse as children have 56% higher odds of contracting osteoarthritis. Researchers where astonished at how, even after accounting for other conditions that could have skewed the research results, that the relationship between osteo arthritis and child abuse was still significant. </p>
